Probably an antique shop, though not a particularly high-class one - more or a junk-shop, I suppose.

I think that you can buy them from department stores that have a hat section. I got one from a shop specialising in badly made tat a few years ago.

The names of the stores won't help, cause I'm sure they're all different. But I'd look in decorator type stores, discount department stores, and craft stores.

Where on earth do you buy hats so that they come with hatboxes?

I have hats, and I have hatboxes. The only time they came together was with one of the insanely expensive ones.

I bought my hatboxes at Target, which likely won't help you much.
